The Cuttlebug Spot: Independence Day
This week we are honoring Independence Day at The Cuttlebug Spot. I had stars in my mind from the beginning so I decided to use my 2 x 2 star embossing folders on this one. I also embossed the red and blue strips of paper with my Fiskars line plate. I then weaved the strips to form my background. I think I need more practice with the weaving, but I like how my first try turned out. Now go visit The Cuttlebug Spot to see some awesome creations by the Design Team.

Thank you cards : school spirit
I wanted to share some quick and simple Thank You cards I made for the teachers at my boys' school. Their mascot is a Jaguar so I used their school colors and paws as my inspiration. I embossed them with the paw fiskars embossing plate. I am placing these in the teacher's lounge so that they can help themselves to any. It was so hard to figure out what style to use so I kept them very simple. I hope they like the.

Altered mail box : embossed
Just a quick post this morning. I altered this mail box for our challenge this week at The Cuttlebug Spot. Lots of embossing on this one. I used my Fiskars heart plate to emboss the silver paper. I wanted to keep the metallic look of the box. I hope you enjoy. Have a great week. I will be posting another one tomorrow so make sure you come back to see that one.
If you are new to these boxes, they are sold at Target for $1.00. Usually out by mid January, so when you see them get them before they are gone. The boxes make great for small gifts. I use them through out the year. Perfect for teacher gifts too.

Baby Shower
This week at The Cuttlebug Spot we are making invitations. I have the shower bees Stampendous stamp so I had to make a baby shower invitation. For the back ground I embossed and inked a Fiskars rain drop plate. I love the effect I got with this method. It was a perfect background. The stamped image is colored with my copics. As always thank you for visiting my blog. Please leave a comment if you would like.
